Charlton will be coming up against a familiar face as former Addick Charlie Devlin made the move to the midlands in January.
The Foxes will be in high spirits ahead of the fixture, having just knocked out Women’s Super League Side, Reading, out of the FA Cup after a 115th minute winner on Thursday.
However, the FA Cup tie could work in the Addicks’ favour, with the Foxes not having long to recover.
Leicester’s league form has been up and down so far this season. Having lost three of their last five league fixtures, the Foxes sit sixth in the table on 14 points.
Charlton, still without a win so far in the league, sit bottom of the table on six points. The Addicks however have three games in hand over the teams above them, and a win on Sunday could see Charlton move up to eighth.
In the reverse fixture earlier this season the spoils were shared as a Devlin goal was cancelled out by a Lachente Paul header.
Speaking ahead of Sunday’s game, captain Grace Coombs said:
“Sunday’s massive, every game is. They’re not too far away from us so we need to start picking up points against the teams around us and we know that.
“They’re very powerful going forward so we’re aware of that, we did get caught out last time we’ve played them.
“It will be a tough test but every game is going to be tough and we’re just going to go with our game plan, hopefully we’ll be able to get the three points.”
Kick-off is at 2pm at Farley Way Stadium and Charlton fans can follow the game from our Twitter account, providing live match updates.
