Charlton Athletic Women will host Manchester United Women's at the Oakwood this Sunday in an important game for both teams.

The Addicks currently sit third in the table, one place below their match rivals and hope to close the gap when they come together.  Manchester United Women enter the game looking to gain points from their games in hand and are battling it out with Spurs for the top place spot in the table.

Manager Riteesh Mishra is still confident of his team in preparation for this difficult game and the aim remains the same until mathematically impossible.

“Obviously with everything that has gone on with the previous fixture it is going to be a spicy affair,” Mishra said. “It is something that we have got to try and we can’t get anything other than a win. We know exactly how we need to approach the game.”

Manchester United have been one of the best performing teams in the league all season, having only lost one match all season and scoring almost 70 goals in the league. The Addicks have possibly surprised most teams coming new into the division with one of the smallest budgets.  A Charlton win will help to maintain third place in the table with Durham on equal points in fourth.

There will be a lot to play for in this exciting game and tickets can purchased on the day  (cash only). Adults are just £6 whilst concessions are £2 concessions. Programmes are just £2. Turnstiles will open at 1pm

Season tickets for the 2019/20 Women’s season will go on sale at the game and can be purchased (cash only) at the early bird discounted rate of £25  for adults or £15 for concessions.
