The Addicks host third-placed Sheffield United at The Oakwood on Sunday, 2pm kick-off.

The Blades have been in fine form this season and are pushing for promotion to the Women’s Super League.

The reverse fixture earlier this season saw the two sides share the spoils. Goals from Ellie Dorey and Charlie Devlin saw the Addicks return back to London with a point following a 2-2 draw.

Sheffield United enter Sunday’s fixture having won four of their last five league games, narrowly losing out to league leaders Aston Villa.

Charlton also fell victim to Villa last weekend, losing 3-0 despite a positive second half performance from the Addicks.

Sunday’s fixture will prove to be an exciting contest, and manager Riteesh Mishra believes if his side can come away with all three points.

“If we play like we did in the second half [against Aston Villa] and convert chances, we’ll beat Sheffield United. I’m confident in that.”

The Addicks sit eleventh in the league table, but have two games in hand over the teams above.

A win could take Charlton up to eighth in the league, whilst a win for Sheffield could take them back up to second.

Kick-off is at 2pm at The Oakwood, and tickets will be available to purchase on the gate. The game will also be streamed live on the FA Player.
