Two-time FA Cup winners Chelsea last won the competition in 2018, beating Arsenal 3-1 in front of a 45,000 crowd at Wembley.
The European giants go into Sunday’s game as favourites, but the Addicks will go into the fixture fighting.
Charlton reached the Quarter Finals of the FA Cup in 2018, bowing out to Arsenal, who eventually lost to Chelsea in the final.
The Addicks were knocked out at this stage last season, after a shock defeat on penalties to third tier side Huddersfield Town.
Chelsea reached the Semi-final last year, a 92nd minute own goal saw them exit the competition to eventual winners Manchester City.
The Blues come into this fixture in fine form, sitting third in the Women’s Super League following a 4-1 victory against Arsenal last weekend.
The Addicks will be hoping to put form aside going into the fixture. The players are relishing the chance to play against one of the best teams in the country, and will be playing with freedom, says Charlie Estcourt.
“Hopefully it will give us a bit of confidence because we’re playing under no pressure. We’re the underdog in the game so hopefully we can just go out there and show them what we can do.”
Ahead of the game, midfielder Charley Clifford said:
“We are the underdogs and have nothing to lose, we need to leave everything on the pitch at The Oakwood!”
Doors open at 12.30pm and tickets will be on sale on the day of the game, priced at £12 adults, £7 concessions.
