The Addicks first Continental Cup game of the season will be at The Oakwood (VCD Athletic) on Sunday against Women's Super League opponents Brighton and Hove Albion.

Brighton, who are currently 8th in the WSL, haven't won in their last five matches and will try to improve on this against a Charlton side who have also had a slower start to the season. The match will be an important one for both sides who will be looking to kick-start their seasons and you can expect both sides to field strong teams.

This Group B match will be the first time these two teams have met since a 0-0 draw in August 2015 in the league.

Last time out in the Continental Cup Brighton finished second place in their group to reach the knockout stage. They exited the competition with a 7-1 defeat to competition winners Manchester City.

The Addicks had a tough group last season wining just one of our fixtures missing out on the knock-out stages to two WSL sides.

The match kicks off at 14:00pm on Sunday the 22nd. Tickets are on sale now here or can be purchased on the day. As this is a cup game, season tickets are not valid.
