The Addicks face Blackburn Rovers in their first game of the new decade on Sunday, January 19th
It’s a big game as Charlton have the chance to move off the bottom of the table with a win over 10th placed Blackburn Rovers.
Just one point separates the two sides, with both teams having three games in hand over 9th placed Leicester City.
Charlton had their last league game of 2019 away at Lewes postponed. With a majority of the league having played 12 games, Charlton have played just 9 ahead of the Blackburn fixture.
Blackburn have also been unfortunate in terms of postponement, with their last two league fixtures falling to the weather.
Charlton have drawn their last five league games, and remain unbeaten since October.
The Addicks will be hoping to finally get their first win of the season on Sunday and push on for the second half of the season.
Rovers have lost their last three competitive games, with their last win coming against Crystal Palace in November.
A win could move the Addicks to joint 6th in the table, with games in hand against the surrounding teams.
The last time these two sides faced, Charlton were promoted to the Championship after a 2-1 win.
Kick-off is at 2pm at The Oakwood, and fans can purchase tickets on the day.
