Lilli Maple has been named as Charlton Athletic Womenís 2019/20 Player of the Year.

The midfielder was a key member of the starting eleven, playing every league game during the campaign.


Manager Riteesh Mishra said:


“Lilli last season was in the best physical shape I’ve seen her – she had a tough end of last season but she really worked hard in the off season and was integral to our midfield. She’s a great personality on and off the pitch and is important, and I’m proud of her growth over the last season.


Rachel Newborough came second Charley Clifford third, with Newborough having an impressive first season with the Addicks and Clifford being an important goal-scorer throughout the season.


The Valley Gold Award for Outstanding Service to Charlton Athletic Women’s Football Club was awarded to club Media Officer David Brenchley, who has been working with the club for over ten years.
