Charlton Athletic Women can confirm that Hannah Churchill has left the club.

The midfielder played a key part in the clubs promotional push and last featured for the club last season where she picked up an injury. Hannah has been with the club since for rehabilitation and support throughout her recovery. Manager Riteesh Mishra said

“It is with a heavy heart that Hannah leaves us. When she first arrived in 2017, she played a vital role in our midfield, bringing us great energy and competitiveness. I have told many people here that she was a huge part of the club getting promoted that season.

“Since then she has had a really tough time with injury, but she's worked hard, through a long rehabilitation process to get back and it was great for us all to see her train again before Christmas with the team. I am proud of our medical and conditioning team's for the work they have done to get Hannah back to where she is now, and we are sad to see her go.

We wish her the best of luck with her continued rehabilitation.”

Everyone at Charlton Athletic Women would like to thank Hannah for her time with the club and wish her the best for her future.
