Help celebrate the promotion of Charlton Athletic Women's team to the Premier League National Division with a brilliant balloon ride over the Kent countryside. This exclusive offer is open to the highest bidder by the closing date of 8pm on Tuesday 2nd August 2011.
Any ‘Addicks fans wishing to become part of history and help the Women’s team celebrate last season’s promotion have the opportunity to join Charlton legend and Technical Director of women’s football Paul Mortimer, women's team captain Katie Flack, Secretary Sue Prior and Patron Stephen King in a buoyant balloon over the Kent countryside on the evening of Friday 12 August.

All proceeds from this auction will be split between the Charlton women and girls’ football programme and Demelza House , the Children’s Hospice who work with life threatened children, young people and their families in the local area.

The launch site is Leeds Castle, off J8 of the M20 motorway. The whole event, sponsored by Women’s football sponsor, PHSC plc, will last around three hours of which an hour is spent in the air; as the crew look forward to a brand new high flying campaign in the Premier League.

Full details including timings and joining instructions will be supplied. Please note that hot air balloon flights are weather-dependant and the pilot has the final decision on whether to fly. If adverse conditions result in postponement, an alternative date will be mutually agreed.

So come on! What are you waiting for? Email your bid to charltonwomen@yahoo.co.uk and we will regularly update this page to let everyone know the figure they have to beat.
