The next club the Addicks will face in their forthcoming season in the Championship will be Durham Women. Below is key information for supporters to know about the club before this season begins.

Durham were formed after a merger between Durham University, South Durham and Cestria Girls in 2014. They competed in the WSL2 after it’s formation and managed to finish in sixth place in their first season. Their highest finish has been fourth place which they matched last season in the re-branded FA Women’s Championship.

The coach of Durham is Steph Libbey. She is currently completing her UEFA A licence whilst she is coaching Durham.

The club plays at New Ferens Park in Durham which has a capacity of 3,000.

Where did they finish last year?

Durham were one of Charlton's biggest rivals last season, they finished fourth with 39 points, only two behind the Addicks. They only lost three games all season, winning 11 matches and drawing the remaining six.

How did the Addicks fare against them last season?

The two games between the Addicks and the Wildcats both finished in 2-2 draws including a dramatic last minute winner away at New Ferens Park.

Next time we will be looking at Leicester City.
